Rustic Marlin Sample Sale

Whenever new people come into the bar, they always ask about where we get our collection of wooden signs. Honestly, more than half are from Rustic Marlin sample sales. I love them because they’re made locally (Hello Hanover!), they're high quality and they look gorgeous. Even though I have a billion signs, I cannot help going to the sample sales because there are always new things I haven’t seen before. Have I mentioned they’re SUPER affordable. Like as reasonable as you’re thinking, they’re even cheaper. Most of the items are priced between $2-$15 ! How can you not buy 40 signs right?! No? Maybe that’s just me. I absolutely love that I was able to decorate the bars and my house at such a low price point and they look amazing.

Not only do they have super cute signs for sale, you can buy entire shelving units for CHEAP! I bought four for blend as well as a bigger stand pictured a bit further down. I would not have been able to fully furnish this huge space the way I wanted to at such a low price point without this sample sale.

I got this massive two sided shelving display for the entryway of Blend! The “We Can Do It” sign, Please Seat Yourself AND B-L-E-N-D Blocks are all from Rustic Marlin! The little white blocks are super versatile and just about everyone i bring to this sale ends up buying some for different reasons. My best friend spelled out her kids names while my cousin uses them to spell out her company name at special events. Some people I know have gifted them or gotten them in honor of a new baby as well. There are unlimited options to what you can do with these!

I use this cheers sign above our Annie’s display. Having high ceilings at blend has created the need to decorate more vertically. Where a simple shelf may work in some spaces, we need to be able to decorate above the shelf as well so the wall doesn’t look awkward. These signs have been perfect for taking up extra space so the walls aren’t so bare! We did the same thing with the Namaste sign below in our yoga area (shoutout to Sara White from sunshine after rain yoga - try her classes - they are awesome!).

I have four more signs waiting to be mounted and hung in the new nursery (that will be it’s own blog post later), as well as more waiting to go in my mudroom when construction is finished there (you guessed it, another blog post). So after all this hyping up, I’m sure you want to go to the next sample sale ASAP as they’re not open to the public normally. I have good and bad new for you. The bad new is they only open to the public 2 or 3 times a year. The good news is their next sample sale is THIS WEEKEND 4/27!
